Accommodation

The Iver Academy is based at Pinewood Studios, Iver, Bucks.  Should you be unable to commute to us here there are lots of options in terms of places to stay.

There are a range of accommodation options open to you which can depend on the length of the course you are taking.  Some students will only stay locally Monday-Thursday choosing to travel home at weekends, others will stay for the length of the course.  If you would prefer to share accommodation, we can put you in contact with any fellow student desiring this preference also.

There is the beautiful Bridgettine Convent Guesthouse a tudor style structure which is a five minute walk from the studios.  Many working make up artists and students stay here and it comes highly recommended.

The town of Uxbridge is nearby and served by the Piccadilly and Metropolitan lines on the  underground with easy access to London.  Uxbridge has lots of shops, bars and restaurants if you are looking for a little more life.  There is a Travelodge right by the station and as Brunel University is close by there will be rental options for students.  Free shuttle buses run weekdays to/from Uxbridge station.
