The students at the Iver Academy had a day out from Pinewood last Friday.

The students were invited for a tour of the National Theatre Costume Department.  The costume department is made up of several divisions and the students got to see the Dye room, Making room and Wardrobe.

Next they moved on to the Hair & Make Up department and got to chat with Helen Casey who has been with the National Theatre since 2008 and worked on a wide range of productions.  Students got to see wigs being made and dressed and the process of making  prosthetic pieces.  A real treat was to see the wig being made for their coming production of Amadeus.
