Off To Leon…

Saturday, May 12, 2018

Tutor Christine Vidler took 13 students along to make up the staff for the launch party of a special new restaurant.

Fast food chain Leon were launching their latest branch on Shaftesbury Avenue in the heart of London’s West End.  The staff are only hired if they can sing and dance and will be able to take time off for auditions so will be made up of West End hopefuls!  Staff will work as usual but will have the opportunity to perform to the customers by taking the mic to sing a show tune.  You never know who may be watching……

Our team arrived at 3pm and the theme was ‘Glamorous’.  The hair team were already there and there were 30 members of staff to make up so the students got to work under the watchful eye of Christine.  The females had either a nude lip and strong eye make up, or vice versa.  Although there was a majority of females to be worked on, the male staff were happy to be made up and pleased with their look.

All in all, a great experience for the students to produce the looks needed within the times given.  We hope they enjoyed the day.
